This is a poem I thought of when I was thinking about what could possibly happen in my story. I guess you could say I got a little side tracked.

As his teeth begin to slip in
Piercing underneath my skin
He begins to drink my soul
As my thoughts he’ll control
Clearing, mind melding as I slip away
No longer will I see the light of day
He forces me to drink
I, still fighting, recoil and shrink
Puts his wrist to my mouth
The blood moves through and south
The change takes over me
No longer am I held by mortality
I have an eternity ahead
My thoughts remain on death instead
Murderous huntress throughout the night
Disappears at the first sign of light
Forced to hunt and live for the kill
Night after night watching the blood spill
Will find for prey anyone who looks like him
Rip that poor man limb from limb
Not for food but for payback
So if you’re hair is almost black
And you appear muscularly trim
You might just remind me of him
The Vampire that turned a scared lady
Long ago, a century or three
Into the murderous thing she is today
I may whisper haven’t you anything to say
When you remind me of him
So fit and trim
Feel that chill run your spine
Now you know that you are mine

WOW, that is EXCELLENT. O_O I *really* like the story in it. I don't see how the title fits the poem, though; she's not accepted anything, her 'maker' took rather than accepted, and by design her victims accept nothing either. Unless he tricked her into wanting the change, but she realized the truth too late...
speculation aside, this is a really, really awesome work! Mucho applause to you!

1 Victoria G. 'Vix' Olmstead replies: "Thanks sooo much for the comment... I chose the title Acceptance because in my mind the way she accepted her fate was revenge. Speculation is always allowed. thats for the compliment i feel so special. ok I'm finished. 2"
