Watching the bird fly by
To watch I closed my eye
Seeing its darkened edges
The shadow falls to make an outline
The bird in demon form grips my arm
As I fall further into harm
Not sure what’s planned for me
Not sure if my true side is showing through
The demons plan and plot an end to good
They know nothing of what they should
Thinking they kidnapped the purest form
They did but it’s a pure form of nothingness
The evil within hidden from any who see
The aura given off for an eternity
They plan a trade, me for pure power
If they obtain me I’ll destroy from within
Good will have it’s darkest of days
Though I never help in this many ways
Once the tables turn and we have our hour
I shall deal with that demonic bird
Rousing me from my peaceful view
Now with my list of things to do
First stop all good then that bird
Then return to my shadow
Tables turning as they always do
And now evil has a hold of you

And how the people in your poems change... Victoria G.
