What’s the point in fighting the night
As it encloses around me blocking all light
Fear of the possible change, the promises made
Knowing that as my life will fade
As my heartbeat slows
The fire and evil in me grows
He seduced me beyond the point of return
Threats were made as to who would burn
No more will I fight them and their light
See as now I’m trapped in a never ending night
Claming as the night grips the land
As some defenders of light take their last stand
They continue to fight, losing the last sign of day
Slipping into misery then suddenly slipping away
Lost is all light, gone, never to return
Now they’re gone, no more threats to burn
The sun dropped creating eternal night
No more will the light dwellers fight
Lost to all, the captured misery
That was the last light any and all will see
Night will always grip this land
Throughout time when mountains turn to sand
No more light, nothing to return
Without things on which to feed we’ll all learn

24 Sep 2004	C w Rowling	Loading... does first comment ritual (dnt ask whats with the ritual i just thought id be different) this is very kool, definatly got me thinking, but yea is there any underlying story behind this? (just curious) Victoria G. 'Vix' Olmstead replies: " Hehe, I enjoy that, a first comment ritual. Though telling me not to ask, I do kind of wonder what the ritual is. The story behind this is a vampire who was tricked into willingly becoming a one and sucked into a war between their kind and the light dwellers. This came to me on one of those days where it felt like it was me, an oustcast, against the world and in my mind I was going to win. "
