Once again his fears create
His dream of her, his fate
As he watches, she feeds
He swears she is all he needs
He wants to be among her kind
Freely willing to bind
He wants to be with her
He knows their fate is to cause a stir
He approaches to beg the transformation
Begs for his annihilation
Will she turn him, make injustice right
Will she correct him; make him a childe of the night
Remembering before he was human, his past
Remembering the feel of the kill, his last
He only wished to be a night dweller again
He wondered if she’d hear his plea, wondered if she’d listen
Once already he’d chosen to transform
Chosen to become the accepted norm
He no longer wanted that life
He could no longer deal with that strife
He hoped to be a changed man
With that thought he’ll do all he can
To become a creature of the night
She was the answer to his horrid plight
If she turned him, made him her kind
No longer to this mortal life would he be confined
He only wished to be with her
And nothing would deter
If she wouldn’t change him, he’d find a way
He no longer wanted to live another day
His planned to be a childe of the night
And he would become one tonight
