A poem I wrote in my Calc class. It's about a hunter who becomes one of the ones she previously hunted.

Stop their spread
Kill the dead
No more feeding on all life
Start the war prepare for strife
Meet with death face to face
Lost fear left no trace
Confront the demon and his kind
Hope they leave immortal life behind
He summons me beckons me near
I walk eye to eye despite my fear
Drawn into his mind
He plans to make me among his kind
Further into his mind I’m drawn
Never again will I see another dawn
I feel his pain and his jubilation
His love and his immense desperation
He was watching me
Asking how I’d deal with immortality
Talking, mind bending he seduces
After the change our people make truces
No longer can I stop their evil spread
Now I am among their dead
Turn another with our kind
Previous thoughts left behind
Now we live immortally
We have an eternity
