Another poem, I'm beginning to think I should let it be understood it's a poem and put story in Parentheses. Ok but anyway this is a battle between Good and evil. It works too, because my friend Kelly always wins.

Whispers float through the night
All the thoughts of the upcoming fight
He knows he shouldn’t listen
He knows it is forbidden
But idly waiting for his brother’s death
Thinking about his soon coming last breath
His brother’s meant to fight those witches
Or the side of good and evil switches
His brother won’t let them have the upper hand
They can’t have what he considers his land
Once convinced to join the fight
Had to help his brother, a playful sprite
No one can tear apart their family
No one with a shred of humanity
The issue comes that’s what’s gone
Those witches and their spawn
Shall fall by his and his brother’s hand
Shall end their rule over this land
He was determined to desecrate their holy game
He noticed the whispers were always the same
About him and his brother and the tables turning
About how the good ones would soon be learning
For you see as the wind blew over the devilish land
And the witches fell by his and his brother’s hand
The tables did a complete turn
Evil had the vengeance for which it did yearn
Evil took over when that mischievous sprite
Conquered those noble witches in that fight
Jokingly whispers ‘no one fights on the side of good
Evil always wins, it’s understood’

I love the way through this how you are saying that through war nothing can be gained by heartache and pain~ really political. i think that this shows how war brings out the evil in everyone~ to me it seems way 2 close 2 reality and human nature for omfort~ was that intentional? 31 Oct 2004	Anonymous	Loading... I liked how you crafted a unique story in only 30 lines. Also, having one brother thinking of the other personalized the poem. The repetition at the beginning of lines (almost, evil, no one, etc.) and end rhyme also makes everything flow nicely. I especially love the ending. Good job and congrats!
