Each attempt brings nothing back
Sorcery, conjuring dressed all in black
The lights flicker and magic flies
The raging fire shows in all our eyes
Each attempt a failed effort
Each fail dug, they hurt
Then he began to speak
In a voice so small and weak
‘Can’t stand to try any more
Not even sure what we’re fighting for
Worked our magic inside out
All I’ve got to work with is doubt
Doubt any one notices the fire
One more attempt may be all it’ll require
But I haven’t got that needed try
I don’t even care if we die
I’ve given up on this pointless scheme
Now I’ll sit and let my tears stream
All attempts have been a fiasco
I’ve decided to let this dream go’
As he spoke the last word his mental block gave way
His face became so pale and gray
An idea began to surface
His previous words began to erase
The fire made his face glow white
He threw in a root and the fire grew in height
'Let us continue with my one last plan
And finally we shall end the world of man'
