So close, split apart

Hurts like knives in loving hearts.

One side light, white doves of peace

One side dark, bloody monsters of death

I will wait for you...

 

Finally it is done! I have painted at this for weeks now, but I have learned a lot awhile, so I guess it was worth it. The background is painted from scratch in Photoshop, the rest is based on a scetch. I could still work more on it and fix the details, but not now. I don`t have the time, and I need a break at this one.

I made the scetch when I felt sad, I think. I am not all sure of the background story, but she is the princess of the white castle, and he is fighting with the monsters of the dark, red place. They have been apart for years now, and both of them is deeply suffering in their hearts. Do you think they will meet again?

This is really just beautiful. It has to be my favorite picture out of all the art I’ve seen. It invokes so much emotion in me, perhaps because it reminds me of myself. This picture definately tells a story, and you deserved the mod’s choice. Congrats! I love the pic!

WoW the way you painted the bottom left corner reminds me so much about my grandfathers painting style , and thats a compliment, coz hes good lol. So much detail with shading in this pic , definately deserves a mods choice 12

This is better then I can do in photo shop though I just use the mouse I don’t have one of those sketch pad things you can hook up to the computer did you use one or did you use a mouse too? Either way great job.

I can’t stand it! Every time I look at this, I fall dead on the floor! And then, of course, I get ressurected as myself (maybe the grim reaper just doesn’t want me??). I love the emotion in this picture! And her dress is phenomenal! LOVE it!
