Tag As FavoriteComment		The coloured version of the lineart also submitted to this gallery - depicting my vampire character Agretence Arhagaine looking smug to the point of worrying me. Trust me - if you knew what he's been up to in the past you'd be worried too. You should be really glad you have that computer screen separating the two of you. Really glad.

Other than that, I do have to say that I like the way the colouring ended up in this - a little different from what I was aiming for, but nice! I also for some reason or other decided to keep the lineart visible, something which I haven't been doing for a while but that worked out nicely here - at least from my point of view. And just in case there are any doubts - yes, his eyes are orange. The sclera, the part which is usually white in human eyes, is black. It's a trait which all of my vampire characters share - though not all of them have orange irises (that part varies depending on the eye colour the person in question had to begin with). Agretence is one of the few who's odd that way - along with his twin brother and Iretence, the 'accomplice' he turned over some three hundred years ago (and who also happens to hate his guts, but that is an entirely different story!).

This picture was drawn in openCanvas 4.06 Plus using a Wacom Intuos tablet. Completed in July 2007.

He looks very much like Lestat... in the movie (Interview with a vampire)! Very beautiful, nice colouring!
