  | After I'd taken down some of my older pictures I realized my gallery ended up seriously lacking in the Avrejh department, seeing as he's one of the characters of mine I draw most. I also realized most, if not all, of my old pictures of him didn't do him much justice. Thus, I made a new one! I'm planning on colouring this, I just haven't gotten around to it. I liked the lineart enough on its own to submit it uncoloured, though. I don't think that has ever really happened before - for the longest time I was very disappointed with the way my lineart looked and absolutely despised showing it to the public, but recently that has taken a turn. That is something I'm very happy about! :) It shows me my art is indeed going somewhere, even if I sometimes think that I've stopped in my tracks - or worse, am going backwards! As for Avrejh, he's a drow (but you can't tell yet in this version, obviously) coming from a family of seven. He is the second youngest of five siblings, with two sisters - one older and one younger - and two brothers both older than he is. The five of them so happen to be the cousins of Arsondel (also in my gallery). Avrejh's got it tough though - the rest of the family pretty much can't stand him. He's way too soft-natured to be a drow - his father tends to say he doubts Avrejh can really be his son and accuses his mother of having had an affair (she hasn't, but that's beside the point). The only ones in his family really on his side are his older brother Di'Shray (though he's rarely ever around - rumour has it he's been kidnapped by vampires, which is only half the truth) and his younger sister (who isn't of much help, since she's too shy to say anything in the matter - she fears the family will turn against her too). ...I'd be looking troubled too if I were him. :/ This picture was drawn in openCanvas 4.06 Plus using a Wacom Intuos tablet.
