'...for in these woods nothing is what it seems.'

And to think he was a faerie once. Or, well, he was never really a faerie, but he wasn't far from it, either. Now he's an elf, but not quite an elf, after all. The woods changed a lot, too. They used to be green and have this cheerful atmosphere... but that time's long gone. The only things which are there now are those you can actually see... And of course, a handful of things which you can't. Ah, yes, I do enjoy this.

This picture was computer painted from scratch in openCanvas 4.03 Plus. I use a Wacom Volito tablet. Completed in October 2005.

1 May 2006	Linda ´Liénwyn´ Nilsson	Loading... Oh... O.O He's a redhead... stares Aaaanyhow, this is a pretty and very mysterious picture, but, judging on the description it's supposed to be. I also like the orbs - very detailed and pretty, their glow is very realistic - as the rest of the background. You manage very well with keeping the background and character together when it comes to their colours. Meaning that they fit together. Yes. Also, I like his skin tone and the shading on it - you're very skilled.
