Vilhelmina Ullemar Lönnbom replies: "It is indeed. It's very observant of you to notice! However, I'm not quite sure how she might have gotten it... Your guess is as good as mine. ^^ Thanks for commenting!"

This one, i think, is the best of the lot. Vilhelmina Ullemar Lönnbom replies: "Thank you! It's interesting that you like this one the most, I didn't think that highly of it myself... Though, maybe now I will look at it through different eyes. Thanks again!"
| 15 Oct 2007 | Leif Eriksson | Loading...You do portraits very well, this one together with ‘Driachim Dragonkeeper’ are my favourites in your gallery. Her hair is very realistic portrayed but the best thing about this painting is her beautiful eye, it’s so vivid and soulful. | |
| 21 Jul 2009 | Natalie Adams | Loading...that scar looks nasty - i bet it has a cool story behind it!I love the way you did the hair, every strand is visible. it always intruiges me how people manage it - do you jut build up loads of layers of strands, or what? Vilhelmina Ullemar Lönnbom replies: "It really does! O_o I don’t think I realized how nasty when I painted this - it’s too close to the eye to feel safe (supposing any scar ever does). And I don’t actually draw every strand, the bottom is just a flat colour, and then I work with big brushes at first making big "strands", then gradually smaller ones and only the last ones are really tiny. If I were to make every tiny strand one by one I’d be insane by now! (Or just paint more short-haired people!)" | |
