Iolanthe is a half-elf and the younger sister of Julian (also in my gallery). From my soon-to-be-written-out story 'Like Lilies Purple', which I will most likely publish on Elfwood once I get working on it. :)

This picture was painted in openCanvas 4.03 Plus. I use a Wacom Volito tablet. Completed in August 2006.

You may NOT take this picture, in part or whole, and use it anywhere without my permission, regardless of the purpose(s) and the reason(s). Duplication in any form is also strictly forbidden.

This is so beautiful! She has a very classic, elegant look and kind of reminds me of drew barrymore 2 I love everything about her, but one piece of critisicm: I think her ear is a bit "too" forward, if you get what I mean? It is still a really really good picture though 2 Keep up the great work!

:-) Vilhelmina Ullemar replies: "Why thank you, Mel! And yeah, you're right! I totally hadn't seen that myself. 2 I guess if there was a movie, I'd know where to look for actors... 12 (That is if I had a seeminlgy endless budget to be able to afford all the actors I'd like to XD) Thank you!"

Wow, her face is so elegant, and I love her hair. Gorgeous.

:-) Vilhelmina Ullemar replies: "Thank you, Kristin!"

She's beautiful, her hair is gorgeous, but just one thing. Her neck looks too thick...or her shoulders too broad...but everything else is just lovely. The color scheme's great as well.

:-) Vilhelmina Ullemar replies: "Ah, I see what you mean there... It's much easier to see that kind of thing when some time has passed since you drew a picture. 2 Thanks for the comment!"

YOo showed me this picture before, but I still love it! Something about it appeals to me n___n**
It could be the character herself, her story is very interesting, and after having been told it, one hoped that she would live happily ever after with her vampire.
Her eyes are very crisp and clear. They seem young, and innocent. The color is crystal clear and makes her face shine. I also like how you did the hair. It flows so beautifully, and makes me wish I had hair just like her.

:-) Vilhelmina Ullemar replies: "Oh, they have very high chances of doing so. 2 Thank you so much for the comment dear, it was beautiful! (But so is your own hair, silly! <3)"

Ooooh, did you use a filter or something to make it look kind of...I don't know. Old? It looks really good.

:-) Vilhelmina Ullemar replies: "No filters - but a batch of custom brushes I made myself for texture. 2 Thank you!"
