Hi Vic!
Great artwork! I commented on some of the pics - keep working and practicing and drawing! In fact, here's a quick tip: practice drawing things that you are terrible at drawing. It will force your mind, eyes, and hands to coordinate in new ways, and it will make you a better over-all artist.
Also, I still think it'd be awesome if you did some sketches of different scenes of "characters" from a book from the Bible, like Genesis, Ezekiel, Zechariah, or Revelation! Think about it, ok? Well, keep it up and keep me posted! Bye.

Thanks for the comment!
No, I haven’t heard any audiobooks of Narnia. As a matter of fact, don’t think I’ve ever listened to an audiobook. So sad, I know.
Celtic Woman is a group of (what is it, five?) Irish ladies who perform a lot of the traditional Irish music, but they do it in a more modern way. (Rather hard to explain, you’d have to hear it.) Enya’s more New Age, but she has some good stuff. She did the song "May It Be" for the Lord of the Rings. I think it was the Two Towers. Anuna is an Irish group that does a lot of the music for the Riverdance shows. I was in a Celtic-y mood the day I joined Elfwood, soooo... yeah. My dad’s from Aughavas, Lietrim in Ireland, so I grew up with it! And seriously, some of the best music is on soundtracks!
I love the DragonKeeper series! My parents, slightly freaked at my abiding love of fantasy, bought the first three books for my sisters and I, since it’s an allegory. And they picked them out all by themselves! (They’re a bit shabby at picking books sometimes. They get us books for Christmas only if we ask for them, since they never know what to get in the way of books!)
I love your artwork! It’s so cute! I can’t wait for the Mods to check mine so I can finally post it! Your unicorns are great especially!
Keep up the artwork magic!

The Birthright Project sounds good, I’ll have to check it out. I’ve read the first three Max Ride books, and my sister has the fourth. They’re pretty good! My sister is obsessed with them, and is in love with Iggy (don’t ask me why, I don’t know).

:-) Vici Mahone replies: "I think I may be a bit...attached to Max Ride as well.. Or at least the whole idea of humans with animal DNA and such.

Warning: The first chapter or so of Birthright Project is extremely confusing, but if you stick it out through chapter two it all makes sense and is really cool!
What happens when a second Ark is build and sunk beneath the ocean? What happens when the descendants of the builders return to the surface a century later? The people above have forgotten about technology and live a medeival lifestyle, and nuclear waste from the Endless War has mutated most creatures on earth. The Outriders now have to find unchanged animals and plants and preserve the Birthright (the original way God made the creatures inhabiting the earth) while trying to survive without the futuristic machines they grew up with. And did I mention that there are a dozen wanna-be sorcers and a couple demons on the loose?

Basically, it’s one of the coolest Armageddon-type stories I’ve ever read!"

Hi Vici! How’s life treating you these days? Sorry I haven’t been by in such a long time! I took a bit of a hiatus from elfwood during school and I’m finally getting back into the swing of things.
