| 1 Aug 2000 | Kim Marie Vilimek | Loading...How tasty! Um, blue! Hahaha! She looks great in that pose! "Tasty"? That's not a comment I get often I don't often paint my 'ladies' in normal skin tones...I like using alot more color Blue is one of those that I don't really think you can go wrong with! | |

| 16 Aug 2002 | Henrik 'Dimidus' Pettersson | Loading...left nipple... isn't it somewhat wrong? and... big breasts... I wonder if even Lara could play in this womans league Valarie Nicharico replies: "everybody has their flaws. This particular piece is about 6 years old. It is one of the few that I spent alot of time "futzing" with and I finally just decided to leave it alone. She has a few minor things wrong with her (like that nipple and her nose), but all in all, I love the way she turned out...especially the color and the shading of her skin" | |
| 18 Aug 2003 | Robin Mills | Loading...Wow i love this, you are so talented! There a picture on Elfwood that looks just like this uh..: http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/m/o/morganm/goddess.gif.html ... very similar, so funny, yours is my favorite though Valarie Nicharico replies: "probably used the same model...Thanks though " | |
| 5 May 2004 | Meghan Emily Clarice Harvel | Loading...This is one of my favorites! Neat color scheme, and the composition rocks! Great use of "using the whole space." The outer shape of the form is very interesting, so that makes the negative space (the red) interesting as well. The anatomy of the figure is also very realistic. Nicley done. *Applaudes* Valarie Nicharico replies: "Thank you so very much! This has always been one of my favorite pieces with the exception of the added "hair". I wanted to make it longer, but didn't space it out properly. I've always like non-traditional skintones....just seems to add something to a piece, I think ^.^" | |
| 30 Jun 2004 | Steven; a fan of sci-fi art | Loading...You said that you did this on a canvas. Is that why it appears just a little out of focus? I think the painting itself is very outstanding I just wish I could see it more clearly. Have you thought of trying to take the digital shot again in an attempt to get a clearer image? Valarie Nicharico replies: "*sigh* I need to scan her and knit the scans so that I have proper looking pieces in here and my other galleries. There is a little bit of shine on her that isn't on my other works because I covered her with acrylic sealant, but for the most part, it was just a bad photo that I never had the changce to retake. I should be able to replace this pic soon(ish). it's one of the ones that's on my list to scan...but it's not easy to scan an 18x24 canvas...>.< </font>" | |
