SciFi and Fantasy Art Winter´s Kiss by Valarie Nicharico

This image placed third in Renderosity's Winter Imagery Contest 2007.

She is part of a set of three, though by far my favorite and probably the best of the set.

This has been a particularly brutal winter here in NY, and I wanted to bring something beautiful away from that, but also to capture the sheer feel of the ice, snow and winter wind. She's been an inspiration since she was finished, and has really helped me get through a few slumps as I look at her on my desktop.
