Jessica Voigt replies: "Thanks a lot for commenting so much...Melange is the main character in my story...and yes her look is panic...she was also one of the seven that woke...but unlike the others she did not strive to control...Melange's gift was that she was a human library, one of three (the maiden, the mother, and the crone)...I wont get into what she knew, but she is an essentially powerful character, and that is why the other six wished to control her so badly...especially Hubris.
