SciFi and Fantasy Art Terra Andromedea: Melange by Jessica Voigt

'It is a lonely place, between the idea of existence and reality.' -Melange- Melange is a character that came to me one night and rattled my brain. She told me of a world for which her existence was created. She told me how she was a pawn to spur mankind's colonies in space. She also spoke of her 'awakening' and that of the key players in Terra Andromedea's downfall, some of which I have posted. Hers was a sad and lonely story, and it made me wonder if those that question their own existence do not feel the same.

From what little I can gather, the story here is as intricate and as beautiful as the picture... Well done, indeed.
6 May 2003	Johan Nilsson	Loading... My absolute favourite in your Sci-Fi gallery. It's so good. The way she's crouching - cool. The "zippers" on her body - very interesting. Her lips - very "realistic". Her eye - so open wide by panic, perhaps. Awesome picture, really! Jessica Voigt replies: "Thanks a lot for commenting so much...Melange is the main character in my story...and yes her look is panic...she was also one of the seven that woke...but unlike the others she did not strive to control...Melange's gift was that she was a human library, one of three (the maiden, the mother, and the crone)...I wont get into what she knew, but she is an essentially powerful character, and that is why the other six wished to control her so badly...especially Hubris. "
