'I call him Om. His real name is unpronounceable out of water. And so I nicknamed him. Om. A sacred syllable. For that is what he truly represents. He is absolutely pure and peaceful. He is referred to by his race as an elder. For he has surpassed many in age, and yet he has not aged. All of the Dygame possess psychic intuition while they are young. Yet with the development of sexual organs, they lose this ability. When they age, telepathy is replaced by venom sacs and sexual prowess. There are those, though, that never mature. It is spoken, that these are the ones who have overcome the need for maturity. They are holy and sacred. Om was one of these. And he chose to be fascinated with me. Why it is so, I will never know. Like a child, he has a vast void to be filled with knowledge. I would often spend hours with him, telling him of my dreams And he would in return, tell me of his. He was…my…friend.
