| 24 Mar 2003 | Maura Elko | Loading...Your artwork is great! Reminds me of traditional art, rather than the stuff you see all over elfwood(not that the other art is bad Yours has a really nice/refreshing feel to it. There's one thing that really bothers me about this pic however, the girl in front has a line that looks like it's coming out of her mouth-but I assume it's just a line on her clothes? It's very distracting, imo. If I were you I would have moved it to the side, and let a white space outline her mouth. Jessica Voigt replies: "that is an excellent point, I did not even notice that...I am going to back and fix that...thanks. It is amazing the things one does not notice about their own artwork, because they have been staring at it for so long. " | |

| 24 Mar 2003 | Megan N. Quinn | Loading...Very nice ^^ I like the Japanese-style dressing (are they supposed to look like kimonos? ^^) and the unique baby dragons... as the person above stated, the look very real and lizard-like. And the guy in the front is cute ^~ Jessica Voigt replies: "yes they are suppose to look like kimonos " | |

Your technique and the way you portray your subjects are so refreshing -- classic Elfwood fodder given a unique presentation. The little stories accompanying them add that extra bit that makes the whole very special. Jessica Voigt replies: "Thanks for the compliment...though...fodder?? doesnt that mean "crap"...which leads me to say...thanks, I think?"

| 13 May 2003 | Abigail Barbara Fay | Loading...This is beautiful. Each of the girls has a distinctive oriental look, and the costumes are just right. I can completely see this happening in China or Japan in some alternate universe! And the dragons are adorable. | |

This deffinitly deserves it. May I keep the dragon in the very front? He looks like he's laughing! Excellent job.
