THe gargoyle is amazing and the automation is just like i draw mine. WOW..I think we have a lot in common. Look at my mecha series pictures to see what I mean. (the pictures named "Centaur", "man v2", "woman v2", "breeder" among others) I l-o-v-e your work.... Jessica Voigt replies: "Thats interesting...that you think that. i suppose I actually do see the correlation, plus it is a great comment...because i l-o-v-e your work as well. Especially the red assassin one (I commented on it earlier) So you post on deviant...interesting (I found that even though I love sci-fi, fantasy gears more viewers...so I have put off my sci-fi...for now) Cheers and thanks." | |

| 9 Jul 2003 | David "Searcher" Auer | Loading...The gargoyle reminds me of the Chrysler building (in NYC). I like the concept and its seamless integration into the futurescape presented. The figures seem battered, a seeming theme in your work. This appearance is wholly appropriate here and the other locations I have found it. Depressing. Keep up the good work. Forsake not your love of scifi for popularity; if you build it, they will come. Jessica Voigt replies: "Yes I took the idea of the chrysler buildings "falcon" and tried to incorporate that here. It is just trying to take the past and imbuing it in the future. Plus I like gargoyles more, they have a more interesting concept...but it would take too much rambling...to go on about the concept of this piece...THank you so much for leaving wonderful comments, I will try to delve into my scifi side...its funny I find that images in fantasy are easier for me to come up with, but my stories are are best rooted in scifi. Then again, I do not believe in the seperation of either, but in the land of elfwood...so be it. Cheers" | |
