“In the future, the architect will be a good narrator, rather than a good constructor.” Ole Bouman. To me, being an architectural designer, it is essential that my knowledge of the arts reach into many different facets. I was taught that an architect is a master builder and a master artist, and this has always rung true for me. It is often times that I have to create images into 3-d formats, yet sometimes I miss out on the fantastical aspect of it. One cannot always create habitats for mythical creatures or sci-fi drones, so while I am creating spaces that humanity can live in, my imaginative worlds get put on hold. This is not always a good thing, for the stories want to be told, and they begin to push and force at my senses, so much so that sometimes I wonder if I am beginning to get a psychosis...just refer to my cats, I have easily pushed them over the edge with my ravings. So to try and ease my tormented imagination, and step a bit away from reality, I thought that perhaps posting my work would make me actually...do more work, and in the end appease someone on some plane. So here I am, posting... To explain my work is quite easy, my images are like poses, for that is how they wished to be viewed. Stories often run rabid thru my head, so quickly that sometimes I cannot write them down fast enough. Due to this, I feel that some of my characters pose for me, that they take a moment out of their time, and wait till I draw them, till I bring them into my world. From which time, they will then begin to tell their stories, and allow me into theirs.

Wow, I often try to use ink, but I never get a result that satisfied me. So it´s great to see that there are an artist who has absolutely no problem to create wonderful ink pictures. (Compliment!!!)

Wow, excellent work. I think Medusa and Keeper of the Dragons are my favorite.

Oh, and my theories on why people seem to like fantasy more than science fiction are either that we look too much to the past, or (the one I believe more) that humans love the unattainable, and since we're much closer to something from science fiction actually happening, we love fantasy, which will probably never be.

Anyways, great work! Keep it up!

Great Artwork! I am officially a big fan! I love your composition and the way you bring your pics together! I went through the whole gallery, and if I had the time, would have left great comments on each one. You have an awesome style, keep it up! I can’t wait to see more!

:-) Jessica Voigt replies: "Thanks a lot for the compliment...I needed a bit of a boost after being poo pooed on by Epilogue (well I should not be mean, they are nice to me every now and then, but nice like master and servant...ha). Anyway...THANKS again."

I run into your gallery by accident and I was very impressed! Your artwork is amazing, I love your (very unique and personal) style and the mood in your pictures. I believe you would make an excellent comicbook artist. Keep drawing!

Your art is amazing, but your stories are even better. I think you're more of a writer that illustrates her stories than a painter that explains her art ;-)
