This is the horned bunny in my Lemon pic. He was originally made for my friend's birthday, and after I gave him away he joined a lemon slaying cult which ended up as a bizzare picture I did! (you can see it if you look through my gallery) He's really soft and squeezy. He's made out of polarfleece, and has fabric paint eyes and is stuffed with polyester stuffing. His nose is embroidered with embroidery floss. He measures about 12 inches tall with a little teeny wingspan of 8 inches. He is SO cute...In a HORRIBLE DEMONIC way! (Kidding!) I made his pattern. He was made in October 2008.

I took the photo.

My friend ended up adoring him and named him Diatomaceous. After the bug killer. No kidding.

:-) Lucy Bert replies: "He’s very evil. When you have nightmares about bunnies, he is the shadowy trickster lurking in the back. I bet you have nightmares like that all the time.
I modeled him after some of the chibi animals like you see in Japanese mangas, but I can see what you mean about the beanie-baby thing! I had a million of those when I was little, so maybe their plushy spirits have seeped into my subconcious."

From the name I expected him to be a big green single cell marine organism, but this is much cuter.

I just nodded and smiled when my friend revealed her choice in names. I preferred not to ask. Besides, it suits."

:-) Lucy Bert replies: "Since making him I’ve had many nightmares about bunnies. They might drive me insane and I will have to write a Lovecraft-ish account of my awful experiences before throwing myself off a tower onto the streets below.
