	Ah this little scene from Lord of the Rings will always reduce me to tears. I was hoping to try and get across sam's utter sadness at Frodo's 'death'

12 Apr 2004	Eykar	Loading... You captured the emotion, but lots of artists do that. What draws me back to this picture over and over is that you show Sam thinking even while grieving, exactly as Tolkien wrote him.

1 Jun 2004	Faye Greenleaf	Loading... I LOVE THIS PIC!!! Sam is SOOOOO great! He fought so hard, and in the end he still thought he'd lost him, poor thing! You know, this is probobly the first picture I've seen of this scean where Sam isn't holding Frodo. I never says in the book that his holds him, but he does hold his hand. I think that's one of my favorite parts of the picture. Holding hands is like saying, "I'm here for you!" . I JUST LOVE IT!! GREAT JOB!! Sam really does look VERY sad.

13 Oct 2004		Loading... aaw.. Sam looks so... alone and lost... poor Sam...sniffs poor, poor Sam.. he puts up with so much for Frodo(im not Saying its Frodos fault, he was kinda influenced by the ring and all but...) and now... poor Sam;_;

Everytime I see it I feel...emm....sad and sorry for both of them (I say both of them because Sam thinks that Frodo is dead and he is really sad, and because Frodo is uncontious and you drawed him really...so real). However, I also feel happy because I know that Frodo isn't dead! But generally I LOVE this picture! Keep up the good work!
