You certainly have that, while its true your story isn't exactly well written it is still interesting enough that I read all three chapters. Another is detail, a story needs to come alive for the readers, it needs to be believable and the only way to do that is to include details about the life of your characters. Not just how they fight or what skills they have but how they think, mannerisms, habits. For instance how does your vampire travel from town to town, how does he feel when he is forced to feed. What does he find enjoyment in what drives him to despair? Does he despise those he feeds on or despise himself? You don't have to do the same-old same-old vamp crap but add the little things that make it more than just a personal history. The third item is something I have no room to bitch about but it is still true. Grammar spelling and sentence structure. You had numerous words that were misspelled or the wrong word. Your grammar wasn't all that great either. I would suggest that you find a friend with skills and have them proof read it. Still and all it was enjoyable reading keep it up. Remember your the writer I'm the critic, if you don't like what I say ignore it. Wadoud Guerroumi replies: "Thanks for the comments. I really appreciate it. Oh and I think you are wrong about me beeing able to ignore what you said. After all, if I don't listen to my audience I'll never improve, right. Thanks for the tips though." | |
