Please keep in mind, tho, that highlight it just as important in a drawing as darkness. Without highlights, your drawing loses a sort of effectiveness because all the detail get's lost in the dark. Some of the most effective art emerges when there is much stark contrast between laight and dark, especially with pencil. Over-all, you have talent, so keep with it!
