Armed with only a stick with a ball on it, a shield and a dragon, he must protect his lands. I'd quite like to have this put with a story, but im not much of an author, I just draw the pics. Bout four hours work with pencils ranging from H to 9B. Shading needs work, possibly more texture. Woo my first proper dragon!

Awesome shading on the body of the dragon. Do you plan on coloring it? I want a dragon!!!

1 Rebecca Louise Walsh replies: "I want a dragon too! *sigh* to have a pet dragon, so i could take him to work and fry all the shoplifters. hehe, thanks for commenting! xox"

Nice steady pose and good shading on the guy!
Some CC; I think his upper body is a little too stretched out, which also makes the arm a little too long. (You've placed the hand right though, about halfway down his thigh)
You're right, this could use a little more shading, especially the dragon. I'm mostly thinking about the neck, and belly plate.

This picture gives me a kind of solemn feeling, like he's just about to step into battle.

:-) Rebecca Louise Walsh replies: "I think your right.... Hmm maybe hes a little bit too skinny, maybe thats why he looks alittle stretched. I did the dragon last, I think i got bored and just finished him soon as poss. thanks for your comments, and he is about to go into battle with only his ball on a stick 2"

You know, this is kind of an interesting picture. There's a guy wearing only some shorts. His head's a little too small for his lanky body (which is accually drawn pretty well, you seem to understand what you're doing very well, just need a little more practice and I bet you'll be amazing at it!) which gives the impression of a kid in a man's body. The sheild contributres to that, as does the style of the dragon...

It makes me wonder what exactly he is going into battle with. 2 (I'm not trying to be mean, just taking a different point of view on your image, which I do like. Please don't be offended!)

Keep drawing! You've got some great things going on with this image!

6 Rebecca Louise Walsh replies: "Hehe, no offence taken. Ive taken the original and given it a good looking at, and your totally right about the head. that was the first mans body ive ever drawn without clothes on, thank you for saying it isnt too bad. 2 He needs bulking out a bit, so i think I'm going to work on this picture soon. thank you very much 2"

The idea is a very good one here. Overall the picture is nice. Yes, there are some things that could be improved but I have no doubt that you will be able to do that. Good job on this one.
