Tag As FavoriteComment		This artwork is heavily inspired by the fairy tale of "Pinocchio". The dragon treasures a dream, just like Pinocchio: he wants to become real, and not just a puppet that is unable to feel the simple pleasure of being alive. The orb stands for his dream he wants to catch, but he is restricted by the shackle on his arm. This work as a whole is a symbolic piece.

Cool. I love symbolism. Except when people root through pictures for symbolism and come up with the most outrageous stuff that wasn't even intended by the artist and *continues on rambling about conspiracy theories for a few minutes* **takes a deep breath** Anyway, nice job!

Not meaning to read unmeant things into it, but the orb is sort of like the Celestial Pearl in many Chinese Dragon pics. Anyhoo, I’ll think of it that way cause it makes it a really good dream to catch.
