Hoho what an original title. I'm bad at naming things. Anyway, this was my first drawing for 2008! It was to test my digital painting skills. I will soon be illustrating a childrens book completely digitally, and since that is kind off new to me, I decided to practice my pure digital skills on something I already drew alot. Dragons *loves them*.

And want to know something? Ever since I joined elfwood back in 2001-2002, I've gone through several years of art highschool and art college and I've become a freelance illustrator now! So for all you starters out there, dream big, and never give up :).

The marks on the egg are like glowing embers, but I am most mezmerized by the blue jewel. It looks as if it glows, kind of reminds me of the game Heretic for reasons I am not clear on myself.
