SciFi and Fantasy Art First Age Elf Warrior by Billy Mosig

This is a study I did for a First age elven warrior. I think this could be a soldier from Turgon's army. I've always pictured elves as a very classical and elegant people, very greek like. The First age elves are to me even more historical-like. So I gave this elf a very classical armor and sandals. The weapons, however, are more traditional elvish designs. The helmet is also based upon greek helmets, but I exagerated it a little, making it more elegant and agressive, with eagle wings (I like thinking that Turgon's symbol is the eagle). Anyway, this is just a sketch.

27 Jul 2005	Posting truth	Loading... I like the hard work u put into this, but be live me that is not wat 1st age elves wore as armor. Sry. They used signs of nature on there armor. Because thats wat they liked. The were peace loving creatures. And wen they went to war it was with saddness. So like 7 out of 10 times i draw elves during peaceful times.Try it. And there swords depicted with a leaf sprout design not a simatar. Otherwise its pretty good. Use this info on ur next drawing.
