This is an illustration I have done for a new campaign setting, written by John Paul Miller. The medium is oil paint.

Really impressing...

The lightfall in this one is really astonishing..it reminds me of caves I've been to where the light always creates this surreal feel ti everything and you just want to sit and stare, but you have to move on.. this painting has about the same effect!

:-) Billy Mosig replies: "Yeah, I've also been to some caves, and I was actually trying to reproduce that same feeling you speak of. It is good to know that it shows. I would actually like to do more cave painting in the future, I like them a lot."

Great looking pivture. It reminds me of Menzoberanzen (SP?) from the R. A. Salvatore novels. Specifically the pillar they use to tell time with a heat signature. Either way, amazing picture. Mods pic all the way!

:-) Billy Mosig replies: "I've never read those novels, are they good? Some friends have read them and tel me I should read them as well. Anyway, thanks for your comment."

It’s absolutely wonderful! It really calls to your imagination. Plus it is a truly beautiful pic. I agree: Mod choice.

:-) Billy Mosig replies: "I wish this had gotten mods choice, but oh well... I don't paint to get their approval haha. I'm glad you liked it."

:-) Billy Mosig replies: "Thanks! Well, my career basically emans that I am a chemical engineer who specializes in the chemistry of foods (and its production at industrial magnitude). It would take me ages to give you a more complete description haha."
