	Illustration done for the 'Griffin Island' rule book supplement for the RPG, Runequest, set in the world of Glorantha. I was just one of the contributing artists to this book. My task was to do character studies of many of the non-player characters that populated the island. This picture is of an old Ogre Mage. Pen & ink on cartridge paper - 240mm x 130mm.

6 Jan 2004	Shiri Rae Kc Burdette	Loading... You know these do remind me a lot of the ADND Manual game book illustrations... I really love the ring wich is just black with a pinprick of light... I tried all kind of ways to make gem stones look alive with the most fanciest techniques alas in the end its the simple that those the best work... ohhh he looks like m'grama (teeth included ) Jon Dixon replies: "Don't ever show your grama this site!! lol! You're right about simple being best - and it's funny but achieving that simplicity seems to take longer and longer the more you try! Thanks for the comment!"
