| 15 Dec 2003 | Randall Holmes | Loading...Let me be the first to say Welcome to the Wyvern Library. I know what you mean about telling if your work is good or bad. It's the same reason I started to post. Well, I had better get reading. Jon Dixon replies: "Thanks for the welcome Randall. It's good to be here!" | |
| 28 Dec 2003 | Avery 'Kira Ashlyn' Thompson | Loading...Are you new to the Woods this month too? We should stick together, lots of scary things can sneak up on you here! Would it be alright if I added you to my list of Favorite Elfwood Writers off of my bio? I would of course provide a link to your library with it, and hope more people come to read your writing, it's wonderful! I read your bio! You sound a lot like me, actually. I'm in school as a vocal performance major, studying to eventually be an opera singer (though now I'm leaning more towards conducting), but I have always needed another outlet for my creative energies which writing has allowed me. In fact I finally gave up and decided to double major in English Lit because I know if I didn't I would be mad at myself later. Anyway, to wrap this novel up, thank you for your kind comments to Star Kitty, and I'll be sure to read more of your work! You're great! Jon Dixon replies: "Thanks Avery. I've been here a few weeks, but so far only a few people have found my little lair! I'd be very flattered if you added me to your bio - thank you! Good look in all your creative endeavours!" | |
| 6 Jan 2004 | Chyaz Samuel | Loading...An actor? COOL-A-RAMA! What were you in? Love Chyaz ^_^ Jon Dixon replies: "Probably nothing that you'd have heard of, Chyaz! Lots of theatre in the UK, including Shakespeare. The occasional foray into film and TV - I was in a soap called 'Angels' here in the UK for over a year, and did guest slots in several series (including 'Zorro' for the Family Channel - look out for an episode called 'The Man Who Cried Wolf'). I also tured the US several times with a company called 'The New Vic Theatre of London' whose speciality was doing comedy versions of classic novels - including 'Dracula', 'A Tale of Two Cities' and 'Canterbury Tales'." | |

The Keys to becoming a successful author! Take care of them. - you must always remember this when you are writing. Sight, sound, taste, smell and feeling! They are simple, but many times, if you miss one of these, the book or story just isn’t what it could be! Don’t be afraid to describe in depth of what you see. Your readers don’t know your world. If you want to show them exactly what you are creating, you need to be specific! | |
