Taken from a moving car that mountain with her head in the clouds is the mighty Cader Idris in Wales. The mountain pass is great fun for drivers and those little white flowers in that field are actually sheeps! If you climb her slopes you will be in need of a breather once you reach the top but if the clouds clear then there is an increadible view!

Mountains are one of my favorite geological features. This could easily be the Rocky Mountains or Great Smoky Mountains in the USA. I like how the clouds are almost obscuring the top of the one in the distance.

:-) Dave Cripps replies: "I would say these mighty mountains would be mere pimples in the Rockies. Foothills. But it’s worth a few hours of your time to climb."

Lovely! not at all like our Arizona mtns. You can see the rocks and the only vegetation on them is cacti. Still, they have there own beauty.

:-) Dave Cripps replies: "Cacti. Natures way of saying keep out!

That and the poisonous snakes etc..."
