Tag As FavoriteComment		 When the winds of winter blow and the sleet is mixed with snow. The people of the valley know that they may get a visit from a dragon. While their larger cousins are deep inside their lairs lying on gold or who knows what, the little dragons like nothing more than to fly down a chimney and to make a cosy bed on a heap of glowing coals. The people of the valley also know that they will have no other 'unwanted' visitors either since the little dragons hate to be disturbed in their sleep. And for a little morsel in the morning they can be persuaded to light the new fire for the day, only so that they can come back later to use it as a bed.

Playing with lights and shadows, creating an impression a of really hot glowing dragon on glimmering treasures... and then, this dark pillar in the foreground... well, here we have someone who has been there...

I like the contrast between red light and the surrounding dark. The use of light is really interesting, it shows a professional touch.

p.s. I had a look to the world map, aren't we getting closer, lately? I'm only curious.

HAHAHAHAHAH.. This pic is awsome. Ive never thought of it like that. LOL I bet my little green dragons could use an idea like this to keep warm in the winter, LOL awsome pic as usual.

Interesting composition! That was very bold of you to leave that harsh, black negative space at the top. It seems to balance out well! Nice!

45 Dave Cripps replies: "There is actually something there. Though a little dark and subttle. It was ment to be a slight reflection of the coals on the cast-iron back of the fireplace. "
