Dave Cripps replies: "I always feel that when you feel a bit 'mallety' you turn off the light and observe a few hours radio silence, and every thing seems better when the liddle birdies start up. As for the blood stains, I never thought of it like that I was trying for a silk cloth effect. But bloodstains sounds cooler! ;-)"

The runes are interesting. They say Death Bringer, right?

Dave Cripps replies: "Boringly enough yes. Written in the Futhark in English. If I were real clever I could have written them in the language that the other runes in the Initiate picture was written in. And this brings up the question how did this get past the Mods when the runes were not translated. But I would have thought someone would have worked out what they meant earlier. Did you see the other runes in the other pic? You translate those then . Nya Nya Clever clogs =P"

I bet the druid who owns it likes wood-crafting!

Dave Cripps replies: "Mostly for cutting mistletoe and holly and other assorted ingredients. Not so much for whittling chess pieces."

I ask you, you seem to use the Runes in your drawings, what do you make of 2 triangles, points touching, line in the middle, and another sign, what looks like a line with a circle around its top.

Dave Cripps replies: "Mmm two triangles points touching? That would be a ’D’ or, I think, Dagaz. But a line through it or between the points? Diodes on an electronic drawing? LOL
And the other, line horizontal or vertical? Could be an ’I’ or something completely different. I shall investigate...
I see from your smiley icon the rune in question. An axe head perhaps?
The closest I could find was a version like yours but with a longer descender. That being Ior an ’I’ There’s one with the ends of the triangles missing to create a star shape but that seems to be a ’H’ Hagalaz variant.... wake up don’t go to sleep on me! (I’d be a useless teacher)"
