| 30 Jul 2004 | Eddy | Loading...Whachoo? Nvm, i meant, desnt it get tiring doing colouring in the middle of the night (what i always do) and just sit there like youve been smacked by a mallet? I mean come one, how many times have i been caught staring into space! (love the bloodstains *wink*) Dave Cripps replies: "I always feel that when you feel a bit 'mallety' you turn off the light and observe a few hours radio silence, and every thing seems better when the liddle birdies start up. As for the blood stains, I never thought of it like that I was trying for a silk cloth effect. But bloodstains sounds cooler! ;-)" | |
| 13 Aug 2004 | Chris H | Loading...Hey, Thats Just No fair. Editing peoples posts like that. Anyone would think i mentioned your secret identity, and to write those evil things about eddy in my name too! Shame. Dave Cripps replies: "Yes I admit it I am (not) Chris H..... Er can I have his cheque now.....(Ha! if I was Chris H I'd be well rich)" | |

Dave Cripps replies: "Compared to Mr H above you this is a very sane comment! Perhaps the blood could be darker but if it's dripped onto silk it would run through it. And no I don't think I'll be testing my theory. So I'll just bid you a Merry Christmas and stay away from the coffee. Linkin Park, not bad at all! " | |
| 18 Jun 2006 | Anoriel from Poland | Loading...This sword looks very nice, just like a sword my dad has brought from Singapur for my elder brother long time ago... Dave Cripps replies: "Ah if I were real clever I'd know what that were called.. a Kukri or something like that??" | |
| 17 Jun 2007 | Chaandni | Loading...wicked!! looks like one of those Arabic scimitars or something Dave Cripps replies: "It does doesn't it. But a little short nonetheless " | |
| 23 Dec 2007 | Ancient_Runes | Loading...The runes are interesting. They say Death Bringer, right? Dave Cripps replies: "Boringly enough yes. Written in the Futhark in English. If I were real clever I could have written them in the language that the other runes in the Initiate picture was written in. And this brings up the question how did this get past the Mods when the runes were not translated. But I would have thought someone would have worked out what they meant earlier. Did you see the other runes in the other pic? You translate those then . Nya Nya Clever clogs =P" | |
| 13 Mar 2008 | Andrea Lanzoni | Loading...I bet the druid who owns it likes wood-crafting! Dave Cripps replies: "Mostly for cutting mistletoe and holly and other assorted ingredients. Not so much for whittling chess pieces." | |
| 11 Jun 2008 | Jason robert bates | Loading...I ask you, you seem to use the Runes in your drawings, what do you make of 2 triangles, points touching, line in the middle, and another sign, what looks like a line with a circle around its top. Dave Cripps replies: "Mmm two triangles points touching? That would be a ’D’ or, I think, Dagaz. But a line through it or between the points? Diodes on an electronic drawing? LOL And the other, line horizontal or vertical? Could be an ’I’ or something completely different. I shall investigate... I see from your smiley icon the rune in question. An axe head perhaps? The closest I could find was a version like yours but with a longer descender. That being Ior an ’I’ There’s one with the ends of the triangles missing to create a star shape but that seems to be a ’H’ Hagalaz variant.... wake up don’t go to sleep on me! (I’d be a useless teacher)" | |
