Well it always pays to test your purchase out in the shop beforehand!! Another Chaos dagger this time painted in acrylic, with backward pointing spikes to enhance the torture experience!!

The celts used to wield a weapon called the Gay Bolge. It was a foot-launched missile (yes, really) with a dozen or more spring-loaded barbs in the head. If it hit your enemy full in the stomach, it would, reportedly, rip him to shreds. A skilled warrior could 'throw' it accurately over a distance of 150 feet. I don't know for sure whether this weapon is just mythological, but I don't think so.

I'd love to see some visualisation of this weapon.

Possibly there was a T-bar on it that would fit snugly between the big and second toes. This might enable accurate, distant foot-launching.

The handle’s a bit fat, don’t you think, made for a very large/fat hand? But then wouldn’t the backwards pointing spikes poke the user?

20 Dave Cripps replies: "Perhaps not a precision instrument. No the spikes are meant to saw or pluck at the victims skin/innards. Would be a little painful when withdrawing it from the wound. It’s an evil knife. I always though the handle was a little short. A little fat handed evil user perhaps? "
