On a completely artistic level, I'd encourage you to add backgrounds to your purely-by-hand pieces... give them a bit more dimension and vividity, show us a little bit of the Mazes of Menace themselves. | 11 Mar 2004 | JC Firefox | Loading... love your artwork, keep it up! especially the winged lion, brilliant. i edited it slightly, enlarged it and made it my wallpaper. hope you dont mind, but its just an amazing piece of work. iron golem and minotaur are good too. The best reason i like your work, is because i didnt know what half of the nethack monsters looked like. specially the zruty. savage. one last thing. you should keep working on the halucinations sect. i'd love to see a miniature space fleet or a barney the dinosaur or samurai rabbit. whata hoot! thats all, seeya. Just so anyone can know what we're talking about here is a link. Truth is, I didn't know what a zruty looked like either. I based my drawing off of the 16x16 pixel tile. More than a few of the hallucination monsters are things out of comic books or movies, and I'm not very good at making things look like how other people have.
