this was an assignment for scool, to model and animate a game of chess, since I have always been kinda facinated by angels and demons I chose that as a theme for my board, there is an animation for this peace in existance but it is incredible boring it is just me playing myself in an unnecessarly long match (I'm not too fond of chess, not as a game anyway, but I like the board itself ).  Anyways, here is a couple of closeup pictures for the BLACK and WHITE side. Textures are all drawn/photographed by myself (that is the ones that are not standard maps in 3D max) and I'm accually pretty happy with the texturing.
