| 13 May 2001 | Annica M. Söderlund | Loading...Enchanting.... I like bellydancing, but I can't do it myself. I love the dress and everything the dancer has, it's beautiful. The colors are great and the shading as well. You also put in i lot of detail. I like that. | |
| 13 Jun 2001 | Lesley J. Hickman | Loading...I just figured it out...the hip of the right (weight-bearing) leg should be higher than the other. One of those unintuitive things....*l* Thanks for the compliments, BTW! | |
| 13 Jun 2001 | Lesley J. Hickman | Loading...Woohoo! another bellydancer! I just turned professional, dipsite what my bio claims. *l* I agree with the legs comment. Took me days of standing in front of a mirror before I got some of my doodles right... | |

I read that belly dancers usually put jewels and stuff in their belly buttons to make them look more interesting. As a belly dancer do you have to wear any belly button jewels when you perform? Julia Weisenberger replies: "Hi, there! I don't use such things. I guess, you could say, that when the lady on stage isn't able to interest her onlookers, I guess she has failed in her position. *grin*The main focus should be concentrated on the movements and the music and the facial expression. You can do magic with these things. *wink*" | |
