I think the girl does look scared and the dragon does want to eat her but not in the usual manner.lol great picture you have a talent for drawing "the maiden in distress"theme.The post she is tied to looks like the one from DragonSlayer the movie.

Not really a friend, this dragon, but I agree that he doesn't looks like he is going to eat her. More like 'hey, and what have we got over here, let's see, maybe it's fun...' In that way the girl don't have to be so afraid, I guess.. Nice pic, indeed, as Patrick says, you've really got talent, but I guess not only for drawing 'maidens and dragons'.

The classical "village sacrifce a maiden to avoid getting attacked problem" seems to take a twist here.

-hey, I don't look like that, what an insult! They promise me a gift and give me an ugly looking portrait of me on a pole!

A few hours later her village are in ashes for the insult with the portrait and the girl, as the only survivior are saved buy her boyfriend from the next village. 1

Nice picture buy the way, you do show some skill, way better then mine as least.
