Just a ghosty bird. Probably ready to dive for some spirit fish.

 I like how the body turned out, though the wings are not terribly great.

This is a great job. Anyone who’s ever drawn a bird can really appreciate the tedium and intensity to detail it takes to do so. I’m working on the talons of a bird right now as it swoops down and grabs Toffee, Cave Elf, descendent of Atlantis and High Priestess to the Arm of Fire. To be perfectly honest I’m really hoping I can pull it off and it doesn’t end up in the scrap heap.

Drawing birds, at least for me, is a lot more time consuming than drawing mammals. Mammals you can get away with some well placed scribbles for fur- birds, They’re just annoying to draw."
