 it was originally part of a bigger and more complex painting I've been struggling to finish . I realized this was to detailed for the scene so I decided to crop it and finish it separately.
I'm very pleased with the outcome since I don't have much experience with digital painting( drawing on the first paper I see with the nearest pencil is much more comfortable *sigh*)

I know what you mean about finding comfort on paper first. This is stunning. You should be proud. The color is beautiful and I love the brush strokes. I favor this piece the most. 12
