replies: "Thank you very much although (due to some issues with other people) I have to say alot of my work on this "fan art" page is based on some other works... alot of times I refrence other work to help improve my style and to work on other techniques like shading and pen and ink. so please keep in mind that none of them are exact copies nor are they traced. again thank you and any comments on how I can improve my art are welcome"

I wanted to say i know that the lady deathstrike isn't your work. That picture is from the comic x-men 2. I think u should do your own work. William S Brooks
replies: "OK Anonymous thanks for the imput but this has already been addressed on the padme amidila page and it's starting to become a problem so I'm guessing I'll have to put up a disclaimer but here goes again. You are absolutelly right there is a similar picture in the x2 comic book. You see I am currentally studying and alot of times I refrence other work so I can proportion my work.It isn't traced and actually if you notice it's not an exact copy, alot of it was changed to suit me. This was more of a practice drawing so I could work on my pen and inking skills and shading and all that . I concider this valid because it's not traced and it's not an exact copy plus I'm not making money off of this, its a little drawing I put in an online gallery to showcase my styling and hopefully learn more from other people. Oh and By the way this is a Fan Art page right?"

Wow you remind me in a lot of ways of myself. I am studying costume design for theatre in college right now, will be graduating next year, and have spent a lot of time drawing. I also make dolls (or rather clothes for them) more for the costume practice aspect of it than anything else. Check out my website - which is in desperate need of updating - but still a good representation of the work I did in highschool and not long after.
Keep it up. I can tell that you have the talent. The key is to find a great mentor who can help you focus all that talent into something even better. Good Luck!
