Well, save the fact in the story he had golden locks, as did all others, but it still works. Great piccy, by the by. Daniel Wilke replies: "Your story is great and it doesn`t bother me at all. I always have problems writing something about my finished work, so you are helping me with that beautifully written excerpt "

His caleidoscope gaze met hers, and for a moment, there was silence, an awful silence. Yet soon he spoke, voice softer than what hers had been, audible only by the streak of pain that lined each word. "Perfect." That one word seemed to sum it all up, and yet perfection as she knew it on earth was so less in comparison to the glory of Above... She stared calmly for a moment, teetering on the edge of unsurity as to whether or not there was to be more to leave his pale lips. After a moment's passing, she found herself ready to speak, as he seemed not to have more to say, and yet at that moment, having found the one word unworthy of all the glory he had seen, he spoke again, cancelling out any words she might have allowed slip past her teeth, as he went on, both sorrowfully and joyously, as though simply the thought of it all brought him pleasure. "Golden. Everything was soft and kind, what you call the sun hung in the center of it all, lighting the Golden City eternally, though it dimmed somewhat at night, so we may gaze upon His creations, and some of our own. Each had their place, and in their place they stayed... There was no need to push your boundary, for your boundary was as far as your comfort was, and to push it would only upset yourself more than it would any other. In fact, the only thing that could have improved would have been if He hadn't been there. He bittered the sweetness of the nectar of paradise, and made light seem dim. Why he was permitted to stay is beyond me, but he did his work swiftly and well, and though perhaps to me was a for beside Satan, he belonged, and the balance remained..." He paused for a long moment now, remeniscing, yet she knew better than to say something now... 'Twas not the time, as there was obviously more... Finally, he regained his train of thought, continuing softly, "We always hated one another, he the King of Falcons, I of Equines. If any were to be cast away, I would have thought it him, but he was perfect, and I was not... Perhaps that is why there was so much rivalry..." He shook his head mournfully, and, having little else to say, concluded, "My last gaze about the place 'fore being sent to be born was tainted by the sight o' him, stretched casually out upon his bed, long hair cast out from his perfect body, watching me with those cold eyes, smiling at me with that smug smirk..."'
