Ok...I love this piece. I adore all the detail and the tribal tattoo’s around her eyes. You’ve done a lot of graphite and colour pieces but ever thought of mixing the two? I mean, it’s called coloursplashing. An example of something you could do would be a vampire in black and white apart from the most important things like possibly the eyes or bloodly lips =)

:-) Maria J. William replies: "Thanks for the comment! I’ve actually done that in the past, and it was indeed a vampire. I don’t have the image scanned anymore because it’s such an old work. I might try it again in the future... Generally though, I prefer graphite by itself. 2"

Wow <3 I stumbled across this piece, stared at it and thought it looked familiar but couldn’t think why. Then i came back to it and realised it looked exactly like i had invisioned the main character of the story i had been working on.
