You made the shade and eyes so cool!
The fact that she loves swords and isn’t so girly makes her even more special! -.0
I would love to see her in more pictures !

What first caught me was the knot over the eyebrow and the disproportionate wrinkle on the inside of the eye. That led me to look at the size of the fist holding the dagger (disproportionately large compared to the size of the face) and the apparent bruising on the knuckles. Is this her hand, or someone else’s? This almost looks like a woman who’s been struck, if not beaten, by her sadistic lover and is now being forced to look pretty for the beholder. The rest of the portrait is so consistent and so beautiful that it makes these features stand out. Am I looking too hard? Maria J. William replies: "Yeah, I think you are... This was one of my first digital paintings, and after a lifetime of traditional media it felt awkward to use a computer to paint, and it showed. But yours is an interesting interpretation, I have to say..."
