ok I do not understand why people are getting upset about the nude thing here. I myself am a female and I think yoru artwork is very amasing, if anything showing the skin is beautiful and artistic. And for the guy who said the breats are too big.. you have no idea...ok.... cuz I have seen them naturaly that big. (looks down at self) they just arnt that purky. Once again I think your art is amasing. Please keep up !

lol, Michaelangelo was a bad example. His nude women looked like men (inspiring theories about his sexuality), and actually, some of Michaelangelo's work WAS censored in the sake of propriety. The fresco of the Last Judgment in the Cappella Sistina is the most famous example... other artists were brought in to cover the genital areas of certain figures. Art historians actually know which parts of the fresco was done by the artist himself and which parts were done by others.

And for the record, there's admiration of the human body, and then there's commodification of the human body. Big difference.

William J Kenney replies: "so, do you think it was right for them to deface Michelangelo's art in that way? And....let me see...if I make a half cat/half woman, is that modification? Is that wrong? Am I in the wrong gallery? Wait....no, it says 'fantasy' art up there somewhere.......hmmmmmm.......(his nude women looked like men......what does that have to do with anything? nude is nude is nude)"

I don't know what the big deal is, its good, if you think its wrong, well why are you looking at all???

Okay, I have a real problem with these people who complain about nude images. What are they, like ultra-right conservative religious people or something? Or are these guys so insecure in their sexuality that they feel the need to puff up and start complaining about something they wish they found attractive so that they would be 'normal,' but are in fact not finding attractive? Yeesh. AWESOME art man. I wish I had that program, and I wish I had your talent. And if I did, I'd show these stoners the difference between art and porno, all right.

William J Kenney replies: "thanks for the comment.... Nudity......Alright, here is a little exercise....Everyone take off your clothes and look in a mirror. Wow, what's that? We are all nude under there? Holy naughty parts Batman!.......lighten up everyone......"

I think what the anti-nude people are trying to say is: Nude is beautiful, it is, after all, natural and part of every person. It can be artistic. But it isn§t everything. If one draws nude only because he finds it sexually appeasing or whatever, and if the person draws nude all the time, he may lose something of the artist, the body he draws is not a gloryfication of the beauty of the human form but more an enslavement of that form, a misuse of his skills. Nude is good. But there are other things. An artist has a myriad of possibilities. One should combine, so as to be more able to apreciate art as a whole. Also, when drawing people, one should realise that he is, in fact, drawing people, not just a lump of flesh and skin. By giving them clothes, one concentrates on the spiritual or psychological side of the person. Which is, I think, important.

Btw. Nice pic. I think the back is fine - she looks pretty flexible after all. And the breasts are just right, I'd say.

come on can't we all just get along...I must have seen the word nude at least 50 times. I'm only 14 for gods sake and I still think nudity is beautiful...I'm more mature than some of you. the artist has made all of his pictures very well. I'm a girl and I still think it's beautiful...SO GET OVER IT PEOPLE>>>HIS PICTURES ARE JUST FINE...LOOK PST THE FACT THAT THE GIRLS ARE NAKED AND LOOK AT THE ART!!!!!there you got TOLD!!!

i must agree, "looking down at self" just not that perky, (used to be)"sighs" ... couple years ago....but all in all ( william ), your art is very good. and to agree with others, your born naked thats the way should be, and be enjoyed by all. not saying i’ve got my self all over the net, but i go nude all the time,and you should be as comfortable in your nudity as in your clothes, remember people, im in my mid 20’s and im still proud of what i got!! you should be too.!

i think what offends people the most is their own short comings and that they are insecure
with them selves they subscribe to the thought of (more beautyful) and hurt them selves.
