This piece was done as a commission based on a very detailed description of the scene. I really enjoy bringing other peoples ideas to life. Hope you like it.

Damn! How did you do this ? The figure was created and posed in Poser 4 and the rest was created using Bryce 4. This one was pretty complicated to get just right. I always make sure my commissioned work is perfect. After all, they paid for it...

Heyyyyy! That's spiffy!! She's like a Nautilus-mermaid! She'd have to be really strong to haul that monsterous shell around though...I like her seaweedie hair, do you do the hair in another program? I didn't notice a hair option in Poser...Poser has basic hair styles that usually look crappy when used by themselves. I usually pick a hair style that's close to what I want and then in Photoshop I smudge the hell out of it. Dragging and pulling and undoing until it's just right. Many times, the hair takes as long or longer than the rest of the image.

This is just incredible. Poser is often so obvious but not here! And how did you get that amazing metallic look?

Oh my friggin God! Look at her face! It's perfect! The shading, the proportions..... GEEZ!! ROCK THE HELL ON! Your pics rock! I love her hair, it's great. I just dyed my hair blue, and it's semi-permanent so it's turning green kinda, and damn do I wish it looked that good!Your pics are true artwork. The shell idea is also a very original approach for this kind of picture. Usually you only see the same mermaid pictures, but this is true art! I love it!

Those big webby fins on her pelvis are great! The same type of webbing between her fingers would be cool.
