Some two thousand years ago, Daeris' sister was lost in a violent storm. Daeris searched for days through the forest of Elfwood, but to no avail. With her magical lantern as a beacon in the darkness, she waits each night for her sister's return. Poser, Bryce, 3d studio and lots of post work in photoshop.

:21obs:: How sad!!!! Do you have a story that goes along with her? Perhaps you should put it on Elfwood's library section! I love storybooks with pictures, ever think of doing children's books? I mean, they'd have to put on a bit of clothing, but if I were going to show artwork along with story to my kids I think they'd really love it.Well, Melissa, because of several comments on this image I am working on a children's story based on it. Man, it's turning out good, too....

seems strange you have so many differnt looking aspects of computer work in this image, the rock is very computerized, and the figure is very photorealistic. i dont know how computer work is made, but is it possible to make something consistently look real or do you have to have a computery feel to it all> not a critism of this beautiful work, just a question for someone who konws little abotu computer work.Every object has a 'texture' applied to it. Maybe I made the wrong choice in that case? By the way, that's a mushroom she's sitting on2

WOW! It's amazing! I just love her. Can I keep her? She actually has life to her, she's soft and real, unlike most poser pictures.Yeah, you can keep her. That'll be $73,928,525.00 for shipping and handling...

This is truly incredible, and that lantern, WOW. This is some of the most beautiful work I've seen on this site. 1

aww man, the wings've ruined it. They just look..too fake to go along with such a great and real-looking picture.

Excellent. A dream. Colour, transparency, body, composition... can't improve on this one.

Have to agree with the one comment about the wings, but the posture and contemplative nature of the fairie are perfect.
Keep up the good work. And the mushroom looks neat
