Lol i 4got to ask lol what do you use to color your pix and what are thoes pix drawn on?? I mean wow they are amazing!

2 Anna Igorevna Kompaniets replies: "i use colouring pencils, sometimes with a little bit of soft pastel here and there, i draw on variety of paper, usually on fine white a3, occassionally on black/cream sugarpaper or a textured rough paper."

I love your art! do you get your inspiration from real people or magazine pics? Either way you should send some illustrations into some magazines like ELLEgirl or Teen People (who have awesome reader pages). I love fashion too. email me sometime.

13 Anna Igorevna Kompaniets replies: "Thanx 4 the lovely comment! I prefer real people, i know some people prefer 2 work from photos, but i think pics from real people somehow have more life and emotion in them, + people talk so its also a g8 way of looking for new inspiration and ideas!"

yeah, I think so too. It's almost like you're cheating when you work from pics because all the work to do with composition is already done for you. also the subjects don't move so it's easier but you don't get the emotion like you said.

28 Anna Igorevna Kompaniets replies: "thanx 4 the lovely comments! i have a ticket pending at the mon it takes ages those days! so a lot of new art will be coming shortly! ever since spring more or less i've been moving away into a different surreal-metaphysical type of art style, so sadly i can't publish a good chunk of it here...plus i've been painting, making jewellery and accessories and items of colthing from random materials as well as sculptures, actually i haven't really done any colouring pencils or pastels in ages.... if you have any further questions please email me!"
